Thanks Mutt, I appreciate it  But really, if there is someone on our team with low health or that's on fire running around us in circles yelling for a medic, please heal them. I really must insist. If you want points, keeping the rest of our team alive will keep both you and me alive a lot longer and you'll rack up more points and ubers than you would with just me alone.

Well. At least there'll be two living members on your team while the rest of them burn. Good show.

And if you really want points, the best way with medic is to heal the people on the front lines, and keep yourself safe. Finding a "medic buddy" is nice, but keeping an eye on the situation and backing up any advancers on your team so they can kill more people and give YOU more points works better.

Also keeps the other guys from hating you. Just sayin'.

Only thing  I can think of worse is when you have to jump off of yoshi to stay alive in SMW. Just watching him float slowly in to the lava...

Well not entirely, just not getting health buffs at all is aggravating since as a rule medics should be buffing heavies every time they see them.

The only real rage I got was on dustbowl cap three, had two medics and I didnt even get buffed before the gates opened, when you take two ubers and rush them toward their spawn and let their three ubers run back kill  your guns and take the point in one life. You have to have someone stand back with an uber to block on D.

Assuming you're serious...

I propose that nobody else who plays medic ever heals Mutt, no matter how much he may need it and ask for it. Also, whenever Mutt is healing someone make a point to heal that person as well. Be as useless as he says he's going to be!

Probably already stated elsehwere, but seems like a good time to recap:

Try to give everyone a dose of overheal at about 10 - 5 seconds, and then lock onto your prime uberbuddy a few seconds before the gates open. 

It takes 3 seconds to overheal a Heavy from scratch during Setup.  2 seconds for the medium guys like Demo and Solider.  1 second for the light guys like Scout and Spy.

Overheals fade over the course of 20 seconds.  Overheal your team as close to round start as possible so they go in with a decent overheal.

I guess this thread has derailed into a general tips and gripes about medics topic..

So FOR THE LOVE OF THE SPAGHETTI MONSTER, please let the person that you ubercharged with the whole time before the match started know if you plan on abandoning them the second the gates open to go uber someone else. There have been way too many times I throw caution to the wind running out the gate thinking I'm going to be ubered only to be greeted with disappointment and a face full of death
