I doubt I'd get very far c: [/quote] 2 Scouts - Mad Milk Everything 1 Sniper - Jarate Everything 2 Soldier - Higher health pool 1 Demo(Or Pyro) - Demo on maps where the sticky jumper helps with mobility - Pyro on all others due to higher foot speed. ALSO: I think a good sticky jumping demo would be valuable almost everywhere. Since the Pissking is no doubt going to be the key player on every team a quick moving, sticky jumping demo could act as a Pisskiller to hunt down and neutralize the enemy sniper, if only by absorbing the jarate and running away.

Yeah, I'm really interested in doing this.
I want to see what legitimate strategies are born of this retarded idea. Scouts are the most important class in this scenario, in my opinion. They would seem to be vital as "pissbaiters" as well as doing their bit with the mad milk. Double jumping and foot speed allow them to outmaneuver all other classes and can pick off lone targets. Demo/soldier seem to be best suited for "pissking" picks. Demo especially has great mobility and ninja skills. |

Thats what I'm saying too. A demo can definitely beat a sniper in a duel, even if the sniper gets off jarate since the bushwacka isn't an issue. I think scouts are too fragile to actually pick. They get to control when the pissking and scout "collide" since they are faster but if the pissking is good he can hit the scout just as much as the scout hits him and with jarate thats a loss. Better to just run away and leave the pissking dry. Scouts are going to be doing a lot of sneaking around, I bet. |

I think an in-house pan-throwdown is in order 8) Would anyone be interested in playing a 6v6 of this format either post-FNF, or on Saturday/Sunday?

Let's do this tonight, probably at 9 central. From our run earlier, sticky & rocket jumper are indispensable, it's essential for escaping fights or reaching healthkits quickly.

I think we just have to determine whether the snoipa really is necessary, or if extra mobile muscle would be preferred.

I'm sure he's necessary. If they have one, then they have extra damage in the form of mini-crits. If we don't, then we lose a mental advantage ("Oh shit, we are/will be peed on!") The advantage, though, is that you can have 2 demos, 2 sollys, and 2 scoots. *shrug* I suppose it would come down to playstyle and coordination. |

Since we're already running at least 4 highly mobile classes (scouts, jumper soldiers/demos), the damage boosting properties of jarate don't matter unless someone is already in the midst of hitting the scouts when the golden shower starts. If we ran a team of 6 such players, you could completely escape combat the moment things turn yellow (assuming they don't also have godly jump chasers). Still, it does make people retreat, which is useful in its own right. I will maintain though that 2 scouts and 2 of each skilled jumper soldier and jumper demo may be the most effective. |
