theres no patience or anything to it , you just play the junk for what feels like 15 minutes , and instead it was 3 hours ,and you're late for work

Galactic Civ 2 does a pretty good job of doing that to me.  I just keep telling myself "5 more turns" and next thing I know its 2am and I got to be up at 6 for work.

did like galciv2 as well, i always prefer to be a researcher. specifically researching economy bonuses, which causes my monies to increase , which causes faster research.  > and i have tier 16 death lasers when you are just figuring out tractor beams

I play the exact way but focus on trade/economy so I can buy techs from other races and build up my civics faster.  Unfortunately this possibly leads to asshole evil races going out of their way to destroy me early on.

Absolutely. We'll have to see if this is Hamachi friendly, if so, its a great way to kill a couple hours.

Do any of you have the expansion for GalCiv2?  I heard it was quite good, but never got around to getting it.  Now, if everyone were to assure me it was worth it, though...

I might be looking to coop after Tuesday.  Only played the one race so far (humans or w/e) since i enjoy their cap ships and fighters
