Just curious if anyone here as tried anything like this.
I dug up an old Centronix SCSI chassis at work and am considering putting some drives in it and making a poor mans external RAID.

Can't say that I have, but I would have no reason to doubt that it would work, it just transfers the signal from an external drive to an internal connection.
