Its been 3 months since I've been to Kung Fu class and they broke me.  I can barely stand.  I can add rising pinwheels to the things I fail at, but in my defense...I can barely stand.  I think I got the mechanics down at least.  If I don't die I'll be looking forward to playing everyone tonight.

I'm going to go take a shower and see if I can lift a bar of soap =(

I just do basic Shaolin stuff, but I'm supposed to be learning the different animal styles when I get better.  I'm still in the lowest circle but I'm going to start trying to go regular so I can take the test to the next circle and then I can start learning staff techniques

Ahhh...all that requires way too much discipline for me.  Thats why I like Muay Thai.  No levels or belts, just thai boxing.  Unfortunately college had forced me to stop going.

as long as you don't go to any McDojo that pratices Bullshido, it's all good. I've been tempted to join a Muay thai, Iaido or kenjustu dojo. Lots of dojos in montreal.

As for animal styles, you can ask Joel about the Lemur, he has very special attacks to teach you

I think we have a kenjutsu sifu in our dojo.  It's just a huge building that looks like a portable and there is 4-5 Sifu's that teach different styles.  Although most people go to learn boxing or kickboxing for some reason  >.
