Thats because in the MMA world boxing and kickboxing are the only way to go (well that and the addition of JuJitsu). Not only is Muay Thai just that powerful for a martial arts but it doesn't have the rankings and the special techniques and so forth. Instead you go in for a week or two pretty much learning all the moves you need to know and the rest of the time is conditioning and perfecting your technique. |
