Obscure HL Mod Thursday 4/17 TGTDIO edition

I'm starting this thread to give everyone a head start on this Thursday so everyone will be ready.

So far we got:

Natural Selection (install instructions)
Fist of Frags
Zombies Panic!

Make sure you got those of the above installed that you can.  Meet up in the destructoid steam chat (or suitable other) @ 7:00 Eastern to start the party.

Things to post to this thread: whether you will attend, which ones you have/can install, your favorite (so we know where to start), and any other mods that should be included.  I'm making it start early because I imagine it will be an all night drop-in/drop-out thing.

Natural Selection. FoF and ZP! are are too slow paced.

Combat mode too please, classic's alright, I just want to be the commander if I'm on marines side. Long live the hive!

There's another pretty good mod I've tried out.  It's called D.I.P.R.I.P.  Dunno what that stands for, but it's a fairly good post-apocalyptic vehicular combat mod.  Quite fun.

Could we expand it to UT/UT2k mods eventually too?  I've never gotten to play Air Buccaneers with more than a few people, and that mod was incredible...

Also, vent will probably be the best place to meet up (GET IT INSTALLED IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT ALREADY!) as getting a group together and picking a game might be quicker that way. Other than that, NATURAL SELECTION ALL THE WAY!!

I dont see why not, but lets get one thing rolling in a game we all have before we start expanding into other things. I for one at least, have no clue how to install and config mods in UT, though Im sure its not that too difficult I just have no experience in it.

Oh and Caff, installing mods in UT is a piece of cake, especially if they set it up with the installer.  Either way though, UT in general is a vastly superior game from a developers standpoint for modding, and the 2k stuff was more popular than HL2 mods until HL2 became the defacto PC game for mods, and everyone was pretty much forced to move to it.

Tried Zombie Panic! and Natural Selection for the first time today, Zombie Panic! not the greatest thing ever. Natural Selection seems like it could be fun (assuming we find a decent server).
