As regards to NS you specifacally need HL1 the not source version, which sucks because I'd have to reget HL1 since I only have the source version.  I'm sure most are in the same boat so I think it may not be successful.

Yea duck, you need half life 1 not source to play Natural Selection...If everyone is that crazy about it though Ill just buy HL1...It just seems a little much for a mod  :-\

I meant for Fistful of Frags or whatever it is. It says it's a HL2 Mod, so I was asking if everyone at least had HL2. And since Natural Selection 2 is supposed to come out at some point, that would go great with HL2 as well (though they're talking about charging for NS2).

Surf, buying HL1 for 10 dollars is the best investment you'll ever make. You have to understand that you're not just buying HL1 for just one mod. Buying HL opens up many many many mods. Most third party HL mods are free. We're talking like 50+ games for 10 dollars.

Also I saw mythbusters last night.  They filled up our entire UF basketball stadium, it was insane.  They came out and looked around and started laughing, they were like holy crap are we rock stars now?

Probably because even the "high-brow" viewers of Mythbusters are prone to "OMG BEWBSS!!" So when you say you saw them, did they actually test myths, or was it more a "Meet The Mythbusters" sort of thing? They did a meet-and-greet up here once, it was pretty cool. Refreshing to learn Jamie's a family man, sad and disappointing to hear that Adam's not-so-much.

Yea it was a meet-the kinda thing but they brought us videos of some unaired stuff and told cool stories.  Plus there was explosion porn at the end.
