I always wonder why FFVII was the only one that they put on PCs (aside from the MMO one)

FF VIII was on PC as well. They were shitty ports done by Eidos of all people. I actually got FF VII back in the day for PC, but didn't have the compy to run it (I think we still had a Pentium 1 back then).

I have the playstation version that keeps turning up when I clean, I am not sure if all the cds are there and in working order though.

I actually managed to *not* download this via torrent years ago. The sound quality was shitty and the cut scenes wouldn't run. It was truly a sad day in downloads...

agreed the sound is making a lot of popping noises.
you didnt install the directshow thing to make them play. there's also a XP compatability patch floating around doesnt help with the sound though. |
