Thought I'd introduce myself even though I was one of the first people who signed up here  ;D

The name's surf, although I no longer surf with the exception of the internet, which I do quite regularly.  I found out about this place from Destructoid.  I was a huge TFC fanatic as well as a couple other games.  I grew up in a very small town (now a moderate sized town) in Florida.  I was one of the token nerds, and being a small town for entertainment all we really had was LAN parties.  So that's where I got big into PC gaming.  (we even managed to set up our computer lab computers for a little LAN we'd take advantage of when the teachers weren't looking  )

I'm generally a nice person, although I'm prone to go on mellee killing sprees while laughing maniacally.  I'm also a quick learner and tend to ask way too many questions so bear with me.  Since I fell off the PC gaming world for pretty much all of college until TF2 comes out there are tremendous gaps in my knowledge so bear with me.  I love playing people that are better than me, which is why I love this community so much.  Playing one of my bastard friends (he had a zoom in script) in Quake during HS got me so good at the railgun I could gib anyone anywhere as long as I could see them.  The rest of our group did not appreciate this so we'd often play UT instead...

When not hanging out here I spend time with my wonderful wife (who I just married in February) and take classes in Kung-Fu when I'm not lazy.  Also I work too much at times  :'(

Also I'm a mod, and although I am nice I hate people that ruin the awesome friendly vibe that makes our server great.  Beware my wrath if you mess with this by being a douchebag etc.

I noticed your "so-called" travel mug of greatness.  I have one just like it, although I have cut back on coffee and switched to Earl Gray.  Except for breakfast, then I go through about 5 or 6 cups of black coffee.  No better way to start the morning

I have to cut back on coffee, when I do kung fu it really screws with my heart rate.  I've almost passed out a couple times.  Of course thats kind of normal, kung fu is hard.  Been skipping lately cuz of work though.

Hopefully that isn't what he meant.  I know coffee tends to mess with my stomach sometimes if I drink large quantities of it.  But I can hardly pass a gas station without stopping in to get a RedBull.  I've been a happy man ever since they made the 16oz RedBulls...

Well yeah thats common knowledge but I am not going to drive to a GNC every time I need a pick me up.  Besides, redline isn't very good for you if you aren't going to do any sort of athletics or activity with it.  And its especially not good if you plan on drinking as well.
