Im so bored I've been converting all my answers to binary

I'm serious, and I'm writing these posts on my phone . But this brings me to a question, I only know binary basics so can someone tell me how to do letters and decimals. And do really large numbers just take 17 places or is there a better way.  Either that or give me some puzzles or riddles to keep me awake.  There are only 4 people total in the class so that is not an option. Only one more day and then I get to take the test on Thursday and go home ;D!

Honestly if you just post some stuff and what it is converted I can probably figure it out. I'm assuming each letter gets it's own binary set, fail used eight registers so that's up to 128.  I'm trying to figure out the significance of that .

holy shit that is simple, thanks duck.  I figured as much that in groups of 8 the beginning would identify the type of thing and the last ones would. Be the thing itself. So #s are 0011 and that allows you 0-9 then caps are 01 and lower case is 011 the letters just being their position in the alphabet.
