USB though ? doesn't everyone have ESATA yet ? not being picky , bu the advantages are undeniable

It appears to just be an enclosure.  A very engrishy one at that.

LOL, I just got back my laptop data intact.  So I am happy.  Now I just gotta wipe my desktop and put XP back on before the MS popo come after me.

But yea I need as many backups as possible  :'(

I already have an enclosure with both USB and eSATA. It's just that the drive I had suffered a circuitboard failure and I'm pretty fucked over now as a result. :/

I know the feeling man.  About a year ago i lost 2 500 gig drives.  Dont ask me how but both of the drives got fried for no known reasons.  I was mad pissed!

My UPS also seems to have lost the ability to get power from the wall. I think something fried them both during the move, as they were both in the same vehicle.

All of my other hardware's fine because it was in my sister-in-law's car, thankfully...

im wary of putting my computer in any kind of transportation device. planes , trains , automobiles.

shits never the same coming out as it was going in. seriously there's always a problem.

I transport my rig from college to home all the time and never have a problem. I just put my tower in one of those huge tupperware boxes or whatever they are.

Well i used to be big in the Lan Party stuff and every time i would transport my rigs, i would get screwed.  100% of the time it was either a currupted files or cant read from the disk.  Fucking A!  When we gonna have solid state drive?!@?!?!?!
