I've always wanted to do that. If you don't mind my asking, are you rich or are you doing the hostel thing?

Learn it.  Love it.

Actually I have an aunt who majored in English, she's been a store manager in retail for a long damn time now.  My friend's girlfriend is majoring in English, we joke that she came to school for her MRS degree.

I know a couple people at OSU as I went to high school in Ohio (I'm finishing up at Miami right now).

I work with the motherboards, memory, and flash buyer to bring in new products and renegotiate better pricing with our current vendors. The job doesn't pay as much as it should, but I slack off so much and the employee discount is so wicked it makes up for it. Plus I can occasionally score free samples of some really cool stuff like this:

But I just graduated from OSU with a degree in Actuarial Science so I'll be looking for a new job more aligned with my field of study soon.

Sounds like NiceGuy is the math-savvy one here Exanimo. Also, there's not much math in design (Industrial Engineering), it's all in the real engineering (not fun).

Word of warning, as someone who's wife was an English major (and graduated with honors to boot) it's useless unless you want to teach or be a librarian (my wife is getting her masters in library science).  Also people don't find it endearing when you correct their english, which is a nasty habit you people tend to pick up.

I'm the "IT guy" for a small non-profit alternative education center. Basically, I do a little of everything. I admin the network and their one Windows 2000 server. I build/maintain/repair computers for the students to use. I maintain both of their websites and do a little  Flash development. I'm also a full time student.

Unfortunately, I've gotta come out of college qualified to teach, and there's not a lot of alternative majors for teaching, at least in North Carolina where I'm obliged to serve.

Yea but you'd probably be better off with my (almost - 2 classes shy) degree: Journalism and Editing.

Monkey steals the peach.

I used to say my job was to be a student, then I discovered girls can be expensive.
