i kinda ignored all the drama from it but what i can recall, this went down:

1. Boy enters
2. Boy acts like a dick
3. Boy gets banned because being a dick results in being banned.
3. Boy cries about rules and furries on cblogs @ dtoid
4. Boys make an 'official' destructoid server
5. Server fails
6. ?????????
7. BRBu PROFITS.

Eh thats a fair summery, no one got banned, but there was more bitching about the most pointless things than a live journal entry made by an emo furry.

Yea they didn't like our no douchebag rule because they felt they had rights to act like a douchebag and that we were infringing on their rights and being prejudiced against douchebags.

It was really quite strange.  They were literally infuriated that they could not come on the server and harass people (especially furries) and somehow thought it was a right of thiers and that we were being assholes and conspiring against them because we did not want that.

Then they seemed to take just that one part from it, that we were against them for some now unknown reason (because the internets are like telephone played by crackheads) and got a large enough group of people all ruffled to pay actual cash money to set up a competing server to protect their right to act like douchebags and harass people (especially furries).

And no one wants to go to that server because, I mean come on its founded on a childish need to be able to act superior than others and be a douchebag.  It's become a non-issue though because we are no longer a destructoid community server, but some of us are still a bit pissed that they tried to divide the community and turn destructoid against us because they wanted to harass people and act childish.  So we like to laugh at their misfortune every once in a while.
