Such a wonderful game for the Netherlands. I can't believe it, and they are locked into the quarter finals. Coming from Danish stock, i give you guys all the love i can Ainmosni.

Now this is a scary situation. Italy needs to beat France and Romania can't win. Normally I wouldn't worry about Romania winning but with Netherlands winning first in the group and having the opportunity to keep France and Italy out of the Eurocup they could let the game go in Romania's favor. Hopefully Netherlands isn't the kind of team to do that but i've heard of teams doing such things before.

Russia came from nowhere.
I would have liked to see a Sweden/netherlands match-up if only to see a battle of the blonds and at least one Scandinavian presence in the quarter finals. Also, spain makes for yet another 3W record going into the knock out rounds after a lucky, and very pretty, goal. Tough matches coming up for everyone involved. |
