My cats laid on my laptop and now Vista isn't working

So computer is working 100% but today I got home and it was off.  Booted it everything was fine, I was a little curious as to why the mouse wouldn't work (also why it was off but hey as long as it is working.

Long story short the mouse cable was chewed in half.  The new one I got off woot.  I'm definately not happy with my cat right now.

Anyone know of another good mouse for cheap?  I guess I will just go back to my old one.  But if anyone knows of a good mouse please tell me.

Also the cord has to be made of rubber.  For some reason this particular cat likes chewing on plastic, which is often used as a rubber substitute.  I often find out which cords are rubber and which are really plastic this way >

Or you could just go wireless...
