So right now my ratio is 1/-10,  I think Vandamguy is the closest with a 1/-2 ratio.

Can anyone take away the crown?

your title suggests "most negative karma"
but then your message makes only reference to your karma ratio.

make up your mind Smile

well doesn't having so many positives lessen your negativity?  Tongue

I guess adding them together would make more sense than a ratio.

I'd love to see those logs if you have them.

And, are you suggesting that the karma be removed?  I think the forums would run fine without it, but think about the children.  What would Vandam do then?

No logs. Going by memory, and definitely not a direct quote.

Not at all. Before setting up these forums I had actually never heard of forum karma. I was just really against post counts, as I feel they lead to posting for no reason other than upping the count to inflate their ego (like the Destructoid leaderboards). Caff explained the karma system, and it sounded good to me. I don't think it's working entirely as intended, but it's working good enough and is still a heck of a lot better than post counts.

What, specifically, do you think the karma system is working good enough for?  Bad posts don't disappear, and bad posters can safely ignore it with no consequences. One could say the current karma system is nothing more than a a glorified popularity contest.

I think of the Karma system has just a fun little game more then an actual ranking system. I don't really take it cereal at all xD.

In Short: Karma system = Fun Forum Toy.
