1. A 12 gauge pump action shotgun. Classic anti-zombie weapon.

2. I must second dave and go with "Down with the Sickness" by disturbed.  ;D

3. Hmm...i honestly dunno anyone famous who i would want to fight alongside me. But if i can substitute the "fame" factor with "more than one person" i'd say two of my good friends. Between us we have enough weapons to wage world war 3 (One of my friends is the heir to a gun store which will serve as our personal armory/fortress, not to mention weapons we already personally own). I also forgot to mention that we've spent countless hours coming up with plans for the inevitable zombie infestation. I could talk for hours about these plans but i'll refrain from doing so. Nonetheless, i think it's safe to say that we WILL be prepared.  Big Grin

While your music choice is solid, I still must emphasize the awe in which I just listened to Lord of this World in a zombie apocalypse context.  I also applaud your forward thinking and preparedness for already having a zombie apocalypse plan on the books.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to rag on the "bladed weapon X" people.  A zombification inducing pathogen would most likely be blood borne, do you really want to be close enough to engage in honorable combat?  Shotguns would at least direct the majority of the spray out radially from you.
Good point.  Also, unless you are master swordsman AND pretty strong, your blade is most likely going to get stuck within a zombie.  So you would have to use extra effort to withdraw blade/sword from zombie and swing it to attack another one closing in.  Thats why I go for the sledgehammer.  If I can't kill a zombie with one hit at least I can cripple it one way or another.
But the sledgehammer could be pretty damn slow; one good smash takes two hands, at least for me, and more than a few seconds; by the time I've smashed one skull, four more are going to be cleaning out mine.
Especially if the zombies are of the 28 days/weeks later variety. Them suckers are fast.
Massive Quote!

Anyways, valid point on the speed of the sledge.  Might have to change mine to a War Mace or something like that.  And 28 days later it wasn't zombies.  Those were infected people.  Yeah I know they could be considered the same thing but I believe we are talking about the slow, shambling type.

If any of us were stuck in a mall full of 28 days later infected humans I don't think anyone would have a chance.  Even with Iron Mans suit.
If these were infected from 28 Days Later, I would have to revise my list;
1. A handgun.
2. A dirge
3. Someone to bury my corpse, as I would simply off myself.
Oh yes, it goes on.

We have a pessimist among us.

I had 3 years of USMC influence from high school + the Naval Science minor in college, I believe that I'll survive through superior planning/tactics/force no matter the situation, it's been drilled into my psyche.  In the event of "fast movers" I'd require A) Riot gear & shield B) The Mobility Denial System in concert with my shotgun.  Also, do pornstars count as acceptable answers for part 3?

If these were infected from 28 Days Later, I would have to revise my list;
1. A handgun.
2. A dirge

A pie is a baked dish which is usually made of a pastry dough shell that covers or completely contains a filling of fruit, meat, fish, vegetables, cheeses, creams, chocolate, custards, nuts, or other sweet or savoury ingredients. Pies can be either "filled", where a dish is covered by pastry and the filling is placed on top of that, "top-crust," where the filling is placed in a dish and covered with a pastry/potato mash top before baking, or "two-crust," with the filling completely enclosed in the pastry shell. Socalled “pyes” originally appeared in England as early as the 12th Century, but the word “pie” did not appear in the Oxford English Dictionary until the 14th century.

Meat pies with fillings such as steak and cheese, steak and kidney, minced beef or chicken and mushroom are popular in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand as take-away snacks. They are also served with chips as an alternative to fish and chips at British chip shops. The combination of pie and mash is traditionally associated with London. Shepherd's pie (which does not involve pastry) is also a favourite amongst people throughout Britain.

These meat pies contain beef and gravy in a shortcrust piecase, often with a flakey top. A peculiarity of Adelaide cuisine is the Pie floater.

Pot pies with a flaky crust and bottom are also a popular American dish, typically with a filling of meat (particularly beef, chicken or turkey), gravy, and mixed vegetables (potatoes, carrots and peas). Frozen pot pies are often sold in individual serving size.

Fruit pies may be served with a scoop of ice cream, a style known in North America as à la mode. Apple pie is a traditional choice, though any pie with sweet fillings may be served à la mode. This combination, and possibly the name as well, is thought to have been popularized in the mid-1890s in the United States.

If these were infected from 28 Days Later, I would have to revise my list;
1. A handgun.
2. A dirge

Agreed. Back to the matter at hand. What if instead of zombies, you were being attacked by a bunch of MOTHER FUCKING SNAKES on a MOTHER FUCKING plane? One weapon, one song, one person. GO!

1. Jedi lightsaber for precise hacking and slashing
2. Final Countdown - Europe
3. Samuel L. Jackson

Of course #2 and #3 still matter. You need some sort of epic going out music and isn't there anyone you know that you'd like blow'd up like Britney Spears or reality tv?
