This could solve my debate in that I'd just go buy snake eater on the cheap and wait till I can get alone in the dark and mgs4 for cheaper later.

Hardware emulation = 100% BC, no errors

Software = 66 - 75%, errors possible


The two good PS3s are the launch 60 and 20 gig units, the 80 is 50% fail for removing some BC, and the 40 is 100% fail for having none

unfortunately production has ceased for the 60gb, so you need to get a used one off the internet... damn you sony.

If I ever do get a PS3, Id rather buy a broken 60/20g unit on Ebay then send it to them for repairs then ever buy an 80 or 40

I used to be more into the 360, but now that the PS3 is actually being used to its potential and since I had to send my 360 in for service like 2-3 times, I am definitely more of a PS3 person.
