I guess its all in how the base is styled; I have a moniter that appears to be the same size and type, just different brand, with a circular bottom.

That is exactly the same as my monitor, but a few inches wider and mine is encased in duct tape.

Same monitor for me as well. Except your casing is black and mine is silver. Your foot pedastal is also two legged and mine is just a solid flat block. It's a fantastic monitor.
