TF Tuesdays - 8/12 - Hunted

Ill be putting the hunted plugin on the server for the hunted map tonight. Im not sure how exactly its going to work since in the old version when the hunted got to the escape point it was game over. Also don't know if it has class limits built in, but Assassins should be only snipers/spys.

Of the maps tonight, 3 of the 4 will likely get stuck on rotation on #1 as well.

ctf_2docks_beta5 - We got this exclusive until after the test, then Gunbeard is going to decide whether this is going to be the final v1 release or if he is going to revise stuff.

the_hunted_beta1- if you went out to TFC night, it should be fairly familiar to you  ;D

cp_secretbase_rc1 - Finally, the release candidate for secretbase, the 3rd cap is friggin awesome.

cp_starship_b3_24 - This is the release candidate for b3, there is one more thing I am going to try to fix in regards to seeing level geometry through the skybox sometimes and if that doesn't work, I'm just going to release it as is.

Don't know, but it wont matter, because anyone playing in the server will probably have it on their favorites list at that point, full + locked

Its a game mode they left out of TF2 from TFC/QWTF

Teams are Assassins/Bodyguards, one person on bodyguards is Civilian, if he is killed Assassins score, if he makes it to the escape point then Bodyguards score, its just simple VIP like in CS/CSS.

There was a bobblehead civilian in the 'Meet the Sniper Video'

And there IS a civilian class built into TF2, but it is currently locked, you could access it months ago as a bug and it was a scout that would glide along the ground since there was no model.

Also the classes are locked, I think bodyguards are only medic/soldier/heavy and assassins are only sniper/spy(?).

Basically you need a group to scout ahead and eliminate the assassins and another group to constantly guard the VIP.  It plays much different, it can often pay off to hide and don't shoot at anything until you see the civilian.  I also think the team balance is rejiggered to have 2/3 bodyguard and 1/3 assassins.
