Uh oh. I'm not even talking prequel here, don't get me wrong. I hate those ones. When I say "Star Wars" I really mean "The original Trilogy".

On that note, ANH was totally awesome, ESB was kinda meh, and ROTJ was fucking supah sweet (namely because luke finally learns to STFU).

Belated reply, had to gather my thoughts. The Luke-on-the-Deathstar part of RoTJ is easily the best part of all the films. Shame the rest of it was relatively shit. I've switched camps between ANH and ESB countless times but at this moment I'm of the belief that Empire is the superior film: overall the darkest tone of the series, superbly structured and stupidly well cinematographed (<3 Peter Suschitzky), pretty close to perfection all round.

It really is difficult to decide which is better and I know what you mean about jumping camps. Also I find that the prequels changed how I looked at the originals and their stories, and has made having a concrete answer much more difficult.

Reservoir Dogs is ok for violence, there is not much of it.  The violence that is there is pretty brutal though.  Not gross really (except for the guy who gets his ear cut off) just you know.  Well it's supposed to be an emotionally tense movie so the violence is the same.
