Hardware just acquired
x1 G5 x1 Saitek Keyboard x1 Platronic USB headset That is all. I don't expect it to help my gameplay much, I just wanted to get em. The G5 is sexy. And with strange aeons, even Death may lay down in the street and die.

They're both sexy indeed. I've decided for no real reason that I'll keep my keyboard purple for normal activities, and change color for gaming. Name RED or BLU depending on which side I'm on.
Also, I <3 the weights. I've got them in a weird configuration of (by column) 1.7, 1.7, 4.5; 1.7, 4.5; 1.7, 4.5, 4.5 In other words, weighted slightly to the left side. I dno why, but it's comfortable that way. I'll fiddle more and see what's good, but that's what I'm starting with. I had the option of getting the Razer Deathadder and Lycosa keyboard for a total of $10 more, but I decided against it. The Deathadder didn't look as comfy, whereas I knew for a fact the Logitech would be (I've been using an MX510 for years). And the keyboard didn't seem any better or worse, and the extra USB drive isn't that essential to me. Hell, I'm not even using all my USB ports. I'm only using like, 4 of them, and another 4 are open. And with strange aeons, even Death may lay down in the street and die.

I got the Razer Diamondback from the Woot frontpage for no apparent reason at all. I haven't got it yet, but it's looking sexy. That said, I'm wondering if maybe I shouldn't recant and get the G5. It looks tres sexy.

I need a decent mouse. The scroll wheel tracking on this is just not good for gaming by any stretch.
