4Th of July - Waisted/Not waisted?

OK so my4th of July was full of events.
This is a conversation between me and a friend of mine.  I didnt feel like rewriting it so here it is.  Tell me how fucked up that is and if you can beat that.

idiotwithguns: my aunt is doing the remodeling of her appartment

idiotwithguns: so i was helping out over the weekend

idiotwithguns: they put me in the kitchen and told me that i need to take the counter top off and the cabinets underneeth

idiotwithguns: so i ve decided to take the sink out first

idiotwithguns: grabed my tools and all

idiotwithguns: plugged my wrench in and turned...

idiotwithguns: bamm

idiotwithguns: water pipe burst

idiotwithguns: there is no shut off vent

idiotwithguns: this was the line to the whole building

idiotwithguns: water everywhere, i am screaming at my cousine to find something to plug the pipe with

idiotwithguns: while i hold my hand over the line

idiotwithguns: the preasure is pretty high so i couldnt hold it off completely

Friend: lol

Friend: sorry, not funny, but funny now...

idiotwithguns: so then my cuz remembers there is a shut off valve for the whole building

idiotwithguns: he runs to the place  where to do that and shuts it off

idiotwithguns: the presure was still there since people trying to use water in the building and all

idiotwithguns: so we had to wait untill that died

idiotwithguns: we figured if we take a clamp and clamp the pipe

idiotwithguns: everything would be ok

idiotwithguns: so thats what we did

idiotwithguns: clamped it good and turned water back on

idiotwithguns: phew half the battle

idiotwithguns: in 5 minutes .. i am on the phone with the city of chelmsford

idiotwithguns: explaining wtf happened

idiotwithguns: and i need a plumber for emergency

idiotwithguns: they send one over and about 40 minutes later the bastard arives

idiotwithguns: by that time the kitchen is flodded

idiotwithguns: i say...  good 10 inches of water

idiotwithguns: LOL

idiotwithguns: fucking insance

idiotwithguns: insane*

Friend: sounds like it..... WOW!

idiotwithguns: yeah happy 4th of junly motherfuckers

idiotwithguns: july*

idiotwithguns: so thats how i spend my saturday

idiotwithguns: LOL

idiotwithguns: i am not touching another pipe in my life again

idiotwithguns: the pluber told us that the buildings pipes are bad and that they are not supposed to be used

A miniature version of IWG happened to me when I replaced my kitchen faucet.  My stepdads a plumber so he gave me good instructions, the only problem was that he neglected to tell me to drain the pressure after turning off the water main.  I honestly should have thought of that.
