Intro is Copy-Pasta'd from Rumsfald's error-filled improvised biography thread. Although it did make me appear....
And, behold, for upon hearing his sacred and nigh-unpronounceable name, HE rose from the depths! Ten thousand years have passed since his exile from the internet aether, driven mad by unimaginable numbers of latencies, lack of pictures in his browsing, and time which HE felt no more. But, lo, a new age dawns! His watchful eye hath kept you safe, but was unseen. His madness washed away like a troll from these lands. Behold, El Fajitas. HE is RISEN! Ever since that first night I got a NES, with Mario Bros. 3, I knew I would play games. My mind was blown. Blown I say, when I noticed that my wall outlet somehow became colorful video and boundless entertainment. I played a ton of NES games. My friend had about 6 shoe boxes full of nothing but NES cartridges. Me and my older bro beat Ninja Gaiden. I once went to a friends party. He was given a SNES (the curvy one) and a copy of Kirby's Super Adventure. We played the whole day. As I headed home, I yearned for that game to grace my own SNES. In the last rays of light, as I went up my staircase towards my room, I heard. I heard the songs of a miracle. The bouncy, instrumental, whimsical songs of a wish come true. For my brother had exchanged our ancient Mortal Kombat. True bliss. I still lived in the old country as the PS1 rose to prominence. I never obtained one for myself, but a friend did. Since original titles cost an arm and a leg, modification of consoles was easy and plentiful. My friend ammassed a massive library that we played over and over. Silent Hill would shit my pants, and famous titles became known to me. I did not do much in the Gamecube / PS2 / Xbox era. I played many good games, but only a handful would become memorable. As I left home to go get some education, I came into the possession of some money. Seeing the new consoles in the horizon made my fat wallet give cries of pain, as of a dog who sees a shoe raised against him. I chose to go into unknown lands. After some time, my box arrived, and within it my first game capable computer. Within a month, I was ravenous for games. Those new and those old. Oblivion, Red Alert 2, Fallout, Age of Empires 1,2,3, Half-Life 1 and 2, and so many more that I have yet to see. I come from a coastal town and will kick your ass if you besmirch the deliciousness of seafood. I am cheap which causes me to splurge randomly about once every other year. I am musically inclined. You will fall before me in Conker's Bad Fur Day multiplayer and staring contests. tl:dr version: I am still banished to the realm of parental dial-up, but not for long. creepy version: I have lurked forever. = 12 = |
