Hey everybody, I'm bjlsurfer.  No, I don't surf.  It's an old screenname, from back when people used to use the verb "surf" to refer to dicking around on the internet, and I'm too lazy to change it, so suck it.  I'm 17, live in the burbs of Cincinnati, OH.  I love Radiohead, gadgetry, outdoors stuff, dystopian novels, and jammin on electric violin in a band with my friends.  In terms of games, I don't have a large reliable income, so I usually pick a game and play the hell out of it for a while- right now that's TF2, in the past it's been BF2142, the Civ and Sim games (like OLD maxis stuff- simtower & simcity3000 have been among my faves), Zelda, Metroid, and Mario on Wii.  Played EVE Online for a month, but got bored.  Also, just got audiosurf- which is awesome.  I like playing Scout, Engie, Demoman, sometimes Medic or Spy if we need some.

So I first got on the brbu server because it had a lot of people and a low ping... but what I discovered was a land of wonderment community of people that are fun to play TF2 with.  So I thought I'd join you on the forums.

Also, is the |brb.u| tag thingie for admins only or something, or can I add it to my name?

Have a couple songs, they're pretty good.  I've yet to find a modern band with a violinist that I really like- DMB is ok (Boyd is a complete beast though), used to like Yellowcard but grew out of them, that band Zox is catchy but nothing to write home about... the kind of music we play is sort of alternative with prog elements, occasionally we mix in other genres for fun.

Welcome.  I tried to come up with a name analysis for BJsurfer, but nothing is popping up. I know there is probably a joke there, but I just can't seem to wrap my lips mind around it.  Failmedic, any ideas?

Skyline is better than Gold Star, haven't been to any of the other small ones but I hear Mt. Washington is amazing.

Only been to a couple of BBQ places in Cinci- Montgomery Inn is nice of course but I fiend Pit-To-Plate BBQ.  They used to be in mt. healthy, not sure where they are now, they moved.
