Can we make it trailers that were good for movies that were actually good, Spiderman 3 sucked major balls, friends and I got up and left the movie mid way through, god it was horrible.

I agree. And same for 300. The trailer promised all action, that bullshit for the first hour or so with a bunch of diplomacy and creepy guys fapping to naked chicks was just weird. Only half those movies were actually any good.

300 starts off with the kid training to be a spartan (action) then the part where he kicks the dude into the pit (action) then he fucks his wife for 2 minutes (action) and the rest of the movie is war (action).. wtf version did you see?  lol

Airplane 1 and 2 as well as the Naked Gun Movies and Wrongfully Accused are the only spoof movies that have any merit.

The guys that did Airplane were genius.

The only thing I hated about 300 was the glorification of the Spartans.  I so hate the Spartans.  Athenians were always better, just that their folly at Syracuse and Persian aid to the Spartans lead to their downfall

Sure, they are all dated, but then again, so are the Airplane (I speak jive, Kareem) and Naked Gun (mid-east intro, OJ) movies.

I dunno if I would call The Holy Grail a spoof movie per se, otherwise it would have been on the list.

Idk, I guess I had just been looking forward to that movie for over a year. Most people I knew hadn't even heard of it till it showed up in theaters, while I had been biding my time waiting for a fucking epic for over a year. Inflated expectations I guess.  :-\

I had been looking forward to it for at least two years. In fact, since before it was even announced, before I read the comic, before Frank Miller even wrote the comic, before they made the 1962 film, before the Battle of Thermopylae even took place. And I still fucking loved every second of it when I went to the cinema. Meeting inflated expectations FTW
