I say we celebrate this by at least setting party mode on on FNF and having a great FNF. Maybe have a theme night with all sorts of custom maps etc. We should have an international party on my boat when we reach 500 or 1000...

Completely disagree, you could probably look at something like TF2F as an example of a community that is a lot bigger in both forum and steam group size, and does just fine.

Hellz yea, I used to play tons on the TF2F servers, and despite having 1000's of people both on the forums and in the steam group, you still recognize the core group of "founders" so to speak. Not in an elitist way mind you, it's just there's always going to be names that everyone knows just because when one of the regulars pops in, EVERYONE says hi. It's kinda like Cheers.

I dunno, I could be wrong. This place is great, and I just don't want it to become indistinguishable from every other large bland gaming community. I don't think we're in any danger of that at this point though.

I'm just mad because I haven't been been able to be around much and now there's a lot of people I don't know. :'( I'm hoping I can get a different job soon though. Then maybe I'll be on the server more.  ;D
