Not really fussed either way as long as it's still released for the PS3.

As far as exclusivity goes, being a Sony fanboy through and through, I'd still rank MGS4 as the most desirable exclusive of the generation thus far by quite some margin. On the whole, the 360 games I've had a yearning to play, both already and yet to be released, are also on PC (Alan Wake, Mass Effect, Fable 2). The only true exclusives to bother me have been Ninety-Nine Nights (due solely to Mizuguchi's involvement) and Dead Rising, neither of which have been enough of a drive.

Aside from that, any argument loses all relevance to me as soon as you factor in Ueda's employment by SCEJ.

It makes sense though, release it on 360 for the states (the only place the 360 is popular) and release it on the ps3 for the rest of the world...

I think the 360 release is going to be America and Europe.

I'm still kind of tossed about this. Sure, FF13 is a big title... but I'd care a lot more if they announced MGS4 for the 360. Or at least the MGS Essential Collection for 360 and/or Wii. Those are honestly the only reason I'd get a PS3 or another PS2 at this point. ^_^

Sure it will be released in both areas, its just that the 360 doesnt sell here... England was the only euro country where it sold moderately well...

Signature temporarily out of order until I get off my lazy ass to fix it.

I doubted my 360 purchase until this came out, made by Mr. Final Fantasy himself. It play and feels so much like FFVI, it makes me happy in the pants. And now with FFXIII coming to 360 (and possibly PC), Square just saved me $500.

I really need to stop neglecting my consoles  Tongue

But even though I'm a Sony fanboy at heart, if this comes out on PC and has any sort of multiplayer element to it, there's no doubt in my mind that that's the one I'm picking up.

@ Squishy: I fucking loves me some Super Stardust HD. I'm going to have to remember to compare our trophy progress when I get home.

Did pique my interest somewhat, yes.

The point is, though, I own a Wii and I intend to buy a 360 or a PS3. Call me an idiot but I can honestly say I would pay the price of a PS3 even if Ueda's next work was the only game available on it. Being a first-party game, it's exclusivity is guaranteed, so my allegiance stays with Sony.

I don't have a single one NiceGuy. So I think you win.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if MGS4 was just a timed exclusive for PS3.

I wouldnt be surprised either. Considering how much fucking money it cost to many, I dont think they are going to make up their investment in PS3 sales alone...unless Sony writes them a check
