Joel was just talking to me earlier today about possibly having me make a sorta theme song/intro/outro for the podcast,
if you can give me some factors to include, I could whip up something nice in about a week or so,

some things to let me know:
+ Length of intro, ill make a long version too
+ I specialize in Digital Orchestra, EBM (sorta I think), and cheesy techno ^w^
+ when/if I get to work on it, Ill post a critique/preview thread so you can help me fine-tune it.

Or you can select any of my current works, I can rebuild it to fit as an intro as well. . .
I can do things like Background music for certain segments too!

I wanted to use your Ubercharge mix.
I can do that.
how long would you like the intro or outro to be?
I think maybe 30 seconds would be fine.
which 30 secounds though? That's what I'm trying to find out as soon as the song downloads.
Here is a 40 second version here, its not a crop, its a compressed arrangement to fit the different patterns into a short time.
Check it out HERE: http://blackspiremedia.net/jasentamiia/music/TF2_3.mp3
File is 192kbps for easy preview, ill give you a high-quality version when you need it.

Mm. I'm keen to do... anything, but I'd like to do something. I don't quite know what.  If you could suggest something for me.

I didn't mean to confuse anybody but since this is to help me organize as well I posted some people I wanted and hadn't had a chance to talk to yet.  I will now mark those with ???.

A lot of segments will be open to new guests each show, so if you see something that you are passionate about that is listed tell me and I will work out when you can be on.  Also if you have any ideas feel free to contact me and if you want to make and produce your own segments that is welcome to, but I reserve the right to reject or ask you to rework anything if I don't think it fits with the show or is good enough.  I promise not to be a dictator but I do want to set a certain quality standard for the show and part of breaking it down into segments is to let me set the bar for each segment so anything that doesn't meet our standards get through until its ready.

Also a lot of this initial period is going to be trial and error, as said we won't officially roll out the first one until after the site redesign.  Hopefully we will have a large stock of material to work with by then though.

I was going to be up for doing a video segment for the site and I guess that is still possible since Caf is somewhat in the Chicagoland area that I am in.  But we will see when the time comes.

Hey everyone, It's time for another update.  I've been doing a lot of thinking and trying to organize this an what I realized is that every podcast is going to be a series of quick standard type stuff (news, results, reviews, coming events, fun stuff thats been happening etc.) and then there will be 1-2 "Main Attraction" type segments.  They main attraction stuff will be longer and will either be 1-shot type segments or segments that won't happen very often.  The standards will basically be the current stuff and the main attraction ones will be the features.

What I want to do is plan out how the current stuff will be laid out and discussed with the hosts so that they can be put together quickly when it is time.  I do want to get a head start on the features though because those will be more difficult to put together and having a stock of them will not be a bad thing.  I will now re-organize all the segments to reflect this and give you a good idea of the layout of the show.  I'll also be getting in touch with people individually or through the forums to do the features.

Please feel free to give input on the format of the show.  Each show will be a large number of the standard segments plus 1-2 features plus anything special the community comes up with.

Also I wanted to remind everyone that this will not be released until the website is up, so if you don't get contacted for something I asked you about don't think I forgot you.  I either need you for a standard segment or am trying to get the feature done I want for the first show.  Also if you want to suggest/be in a feature please let me know that as well.

Had an idea for a segment called "Fanboy versus *Insert title*" where a fanboy talks about a game and then someone on the opposite end talks about the same game.

For example:  Have someone like Caf talk about Fallout 3 and then someone like Eschatos talk about the same game.  I know Caf is a bigger Fallout fan than me and I know how despite my complaints in the past Eschatos has been defending the game.  So it could provide some pretty interesting banter to see both sides.

You could do it for many other games:  Smash brothers, Halo (LOL), Zelda games, and so forth.

Ask me if you need me for something. Otherwise I can volunteer my time on writing a Sniper class guide.

That works, I was planning on stuff like that for 5 min mini-features.  But for sniper I think it might just be "click on head"

I keep listening to it to see if I get sick of it.  It's a no so far, which means perfect for the podcast  ;D.  Maybe I should set it as my ringtone as well.
