Salutations!

Ok, now that I've appeared somewhat intelligent with my choice of greetings, I'll get to the basics. I go by Willowz, Jwillowz, Carnitine, Widergren, or as Caffeine calls me: Widergroin.... Don't worry, I don't get it either.

I've been playing Counter-Strike for some time, mostly brief interludes during the times in which I quit playing World of Warcraft. Yes, I played WoW. I'm sorry. I quit for good, I swear. Thanks to two level 70's, a level 50, and a diminishing social life, I realized the err of my ways. Also, due to Caffeine's generosity (bestowing TF2 to my Steam account), I have now become wholly addicted to TF2 and all its rediculousness (not sure if that's a word....). Anyways, I started as a Spy and soon realized I'm not quite crafty enough for that. I mainly play Soldier, Sniper, or Engineer, every once in a while experimenting with the Spy when I feel my opponents are... shall we say... incredibly inept.

Anyways, I look forward to playing with you all and have already met quite a few outstanding players both in ability and character.

Be forwarned, in-game I may not be as seemingly eloquent as I am now, especially if I'm sailing away with Captain & Coke.... which is happening all the more frequently.

        GG,

      ~Willowz

Welcome.

1) If Caffeine calls you Widergroin, do you call him Gapingbuttocks?

2) You from the Illinois area?

3) Please warn us now if you plan on lecturing us with Planetside stories and anecdotes.

4) When you played WoW, did you feel that Blizz ever gave a class a bad buff that unbalanced and drained the fun out of the game? If so, please share an story or two about that.

Also, the obligatory Out of the way, Peck.

1) I can call Caffeine whatever the hell I want.

2) I live in Roscoe (Suburb of Rockford? lol). I attend the University of Illinois - UC also.

3) I will not be lecturing you with boring stories of Planetside, unless it's stories about stories I've heard from Caffeine. I never played Planetside, I was too busy WoWing, SWGing, or CSing.

4) While playing WoW there were a number of different patches which basically made every class overpowered at some point. I started and mainly played a Warlock, by far the most overpowered class. I could kill almost anyone with shitty gear equipped and a lack of focus. Then I leveled a rogue to 70 and found out that the Rogue class offered nearly the same gayness, if not moreso. While easy to die when caught off guard, if you remained safe you could just about gay anyone over. (Sorry for the prolific use of the word 'gay' to define WoW.... maybe there's a connection there....)

5) Caffeine: you may not call me that for one very important reason: I did not set my nipple on fire; I asked someone to light me on fire, and they willingly obliged. It was Will.

Also, I like the picture Neonie. haha

I graduated from there last year with a Masters in Finance, also went there for undergrad, so 5 years. Go there, best bang for your buck if you are in state. If you are going for engineering or business, Engineering is #2 behind MIT, Accounting is #1, and business as a whole fluctuates, when I was a freshman it was like 7 or 8 I think, it dropped down came back up then dropped down again.

Don't go to MIT. It sucks, you don't have any free time. It's not unheard of to have homework assignments that take 20+ hours a week per class. And if you do make yourself some free time, your GPA will suck.  :'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(

Yea I heard MIT was for the real best and brightest and Harvard was for all the rich slackers/stoners.  But that could just be pro-MIT propaganda.

Mm. I've got a pretty good selection down where I am. The UNC system is really good all around - especially for Education and some liberal arts, although I doubt you're interested in those - and UNC-CH is reputed worldwide as one of the best schools in States for the more... "creative" majors: English (and English Lit), Linguistic studies, Social Sciences, etc.

If it's engineering and business, UNC is okay, but the only reasonable school around here for that is NC State, and then you'd have to be near ZoSo.

Also, welcome Willowz. I lit my hand on fire once?
