I don't really care when it will end, but rather how?
EARTH will end, meaning there will be no life at all in a huge radius of a few light-years! A few hundreds atomic bombs cannot even do that. The only reason people freak out over these kind of things is that they want something to happen on these dates. Even though they know it wont. And then they'll be all depressed when it doesn't happen and wonder why. It's the way it was in 2000, and it's going to be the same with 2012.Â
