Some of you might recall me talking about being stung by a wasp yesterday well this is what happened...

When my food arrived I went out to get it. While grabbing my food I felt a sharp sting in my right biceps. I got stung by a wasp... Well, me being who I am, I shrugged off the pain and started eating at home... Slowly becoming more dizzy and I started to feel tingling all over my body... When I felt like I could almost pass out I went to the boat next to me where my father lives because I didn't want to pass out alone... I became more and more dizzy but I snapped out of it at some point and felt a lot better. I went back to my own boat and started playing tf2... At this point I started itching all over my body, so much that it drove me insane, scratching all over. After a few minutes I noticed boils all over my arms and I knew it was time to call the central doctor service of this city.

When I explained how I felt the doctor said I should get my ass to a hospital ASAP and so I did... My father gave me a ride to the hospital while I was still going insane with the itching and breathing became a lot harder as well. Once there, the doctor didn't waste any time and after talking for a few minutes he gave me two injections of the strongest anti-allergen they had in both my thigh muscles. (First time I had injections anywhere else than my arm and compared to that this hurt like hell) After that you could see the boils just disappearing in a very fast tempo and the doctor said I made the fastest recovery he's ever seen and regrets not having a camera to record it. I tried to stand up again but became very dizzy and light headed again and almost went into anaphylactic shock and while I lay there he was preparing a needle of adrenalin to revive me if this would happen. Luckily I didn't go into shock and I just threw up... This making me feel loads better.

Then he told me this was a severe allergic reaction to the wasp sting and that the next time I get stung by a wasp the reaction will be a lot stronger and might kill me within half an hour if I don't inject myself with adrenalin... After getting the prescription for some anti allergen pills and an emergency adrenalin syringe my father brought me by the pharmacy and then he brought me home...

So there you have it, quite a shitty night... Hope euro FNF was still fun.

I've actually had the same thing happen to me once, the only difference is I don't know what exactly caused it.

Edit: And funnily enough, the needle they gave me was probably the least pain full I've had, but that was probably becuase I was so flustered at that very moment I didn't really feel it.

Wasps have always been my mortal foe, and now they dare strike a near fatal blow in my circle?  Thank goodness you got to the doctor.. damn it all that you're allergic to those little shits!

I think you should locate that wasp's nest and have someone (not you!!) neutralize it.  Please be careful, Ain!

I'd enact the Omega Wasp Purge Protocol, but I have a debilitating phobia against them, so I wouldn't be any help ;_; .

Yeah my husband is allergic to fire ants so I know what you're talking about. You might want to go back to that place you got your food from and see if that wasp nest is right there and tell them to get rid of it. But yeah it can be dangerous. Be sure to always keep Bennedryl or Zyrtec and keep an Epi-Pen on hand because if you get attacked by a nest you're fucked. I have had to rush him to the hospital before over this. You start by just feeling bad but ir will get worse and can come back so you will need to go to the hospital or doctor every time you administer one of those. They will give you more steroids to make sure that it doesn't re-occur. Of course its just a low dosage of them but enough to make you PMS like a woman. Usually I give my husband his pills and walk away because of that. lol Also make sure your family or people you know... know what to do if you go into anaphylactic shock. I am search and rescue trained so I automatically know what to do for most things.

Fire Ants are one of the biggest reasons I am glad I am living up North right now. One time fell head first into a fireant nest. Fuuuuuuuuuuck.

agreed. I never used it in Bioshock becuase I felt it was more torture then needed be. A quick shotgun to the face or electricity zap is much better.

Anaphylaxis sucks.  Have fun carrying around your epi pen.  Protip: if you're really pissed at someone, stick them with it, they'll probably survive but they'll think they're having a heart attack.
