Krissy's absence from tf2/steam :(

wellllll... as most of you know I was staying with my brother and his fiance for awhile, crashing on their couch with their yappy dogs that you sometimes hear in the background when I play (haha). Anyway on Tuesday (THE DAY OF THE HEAVY UPDATE WHICH IM PISSED ABOUT BECAUSE I CANT FUCKING PLAY) my brother talked to me and now I'm living elsewhere.

Unfortunately, I was using my brothers laptop to play tf2 and now I'm stuck using a pretty shit computer that barely runs anything, let alone TF2.. till my new computer arrives..

My laptop, according to Alienware (dont even start with the, "blahblah you paid too much blahblah"), is in "phase 4" out of 9, however I called them and they said it should be shipped by the latest-- this Thursday (after ordering it on AUGUST 2ND) and will probably be a 2-3 day shipping to here in the great white north of Canada.

So I will be playing the MINUTE I get my laptop in the mail I'm gonna be the last one to get the heavy achievements it makes me sad ! ! Atleast for now I don't have to stress over Spore killing me and hunting me down ahaha

So yea, thats where I've been... so I'm not really on Steam anymore for now. Hope everyone isn't missing me TOO much

STFU hayters laptop gaming is great you can game anywhere.  I like to game on my dining room table while eating cookies, or on the couch.  One of these days I'll figure out how to game in bed.

lol, sorry, but a gaming lappy is a joke, you can't upgrade it or fix anything if stuff goes wrong

While I do own a laptop, Im not a fan of them in general. Ill change my mind when I can build a laptop from scratch and/or they sell replacement parts on newegg for when I inevitably spill a can of pop on mine.

I agree that desktop is better for the above reasons, but if having the latest hardware is not important to you and you need something mobile the laptop kills many birds with a big hot stone.  I get so much use out of my laptop not just in gaming.  But if I could afford to upkeep a nice desktop I would.
