Pink Floyd has too much baggage from all the crap over the years, and Hendrix only made music for a few years before killing hisself. Beatles may be more relevant, ahead of their time, blah blah blah, but they could never kick as much ass as Led Zeppelin.Â

What are you talking about pure original talent? While Hendrix's songs have probably stuck better than Stevie Ray Vaughn's, I strongly believe that Stevie Ray Vaughn plays guitar better than Hendrix. Even Vaughn's covers of Hendrix (Little Wing, Red House, Voodoo Child) sound a lot cleaner than Hendrix.

I'm glad I am not alone on this one. Brian May you can argue is also one of the best guitarists ever although I wouldn't say he is better than Jimmy. Then you got arguably the best vocals/front man in rock n roll. All and all a very talented core of musicians/songwriters with a lot of originality. Too bad Freddy liked the men and disliked the protection
