DS homebrew?

Well I just got something that lets me play such things and I was wondering if any of you knew any good apps/games.
I've got the Ipod one, and an organizer so far and they're decent. Any other good ones out there?

All i understand is that i should get a NDS SuperKey for slot one
but slot-2 is something im not finding a clear answer for.

all you need is a flashcart in slot 1 and a microsd.

popular flashcarts are M3 Simply or the R4.

There is a working port for DS?  Not as far as I can see... PSP one is great though.

I know it's still a work in progress, but I can't believe nobody's mentioned Cave Story DS.

The current latest build of Cave Story DS (about a year old) only lets you run around numerous levels in the game selectable by the touchscreen. The newest version has added NPC's that do not hurt you yet and there are no weapons. That is why nobody has mentioned Cave Story DS.

Anyway, having recently gotten myself a CycloDS, I've been looking around the homebrew scene a lot. There is an excellent working Lemmings port that is very fun to play.

There is also a very good working Doom DS port.

There is ScummVM DS which obviously lets you run some of your favorite adventure games.

It works okay and it does get updated occasionally but the DS can't handle all games.

Then there is DScent which emulates Descent. I haven't tried it yet and it seems it has stopped being worked on but apperently what is done works very well and smoothly.

Then obviously as has already been said, there are emulators.
nesDS is the best working DS NES emulator. It has great compatibility.

jEnesisDS is the best running Genesis emulator. It works very well from what I've used (Earthworm Jim, Contra: Hardcorps etc)

Also, this emulator is still being actively worked on so will improve in time.

The best SNES emulator is SNEmulDS. It works okay, there is no really good SNES emulator on DS. Don't expect too much.

Lameboy is a very good working Gameboy emulator.

There is also a port of Quake 1 and 2 for DS.

Quake 1 runs pretty well but still strains in its current state. Quake 2 requires an external ram expansion. If you don't have one I would reccomend the EZ Flash 3 in 1. It also lets you play GBA roms that you 'backed up'.

Well, every game I've mentioned has been either a port or emulator. Hmmm....
