Has anyone seen the heavy taunt kill actually work? I can't find a video of it anywhere nor was I able to get it to work myself.

It doesn't work properly.  I think Scotty got one, and it just showed ERRORNAME instead of his name.  Also I think something weird happens to the dead person.  We were going to have an entire round of just that, but never got around to it.

Ive gotten it, its a VERY narrow invisible bullet and it has to hit dead on. I don't believe theres a range on it either

Yeah, I got it point blank though so I can't attest to range. I know I didn't get the achievement, and when Squishy (I think) died his body just disappeared. It was almost right before a map change though, and on an arena map of all places, so those might've been factors.

It has the advantage of being mostly silent until the actual kill happens.. but you'd have to be pretty sneaky to get close enough without an enemy sniper seeing you.

Another thing with the Heavy's taunt is he doesn't make a sound before it, unlike the Pyro, so it's a little more sneaky. I actually got the achievement on an official server and took out a Sniper. Then he rage-quit. Then I ate my sandvich.
