Back in my day we had fully routable addresses on all all the workstations. I could do IP printing from home and pick it up before my first class.
Best part was when I was allowed to setup a [Counter-Strike] server on the school's gigabit connection. I got 3-11ms latency from home Tongue

Good times...

Help me, how do I get around the school's ports being blocked without me having to buy myself internets?

Port Forwarding or VPN into another network

Or if you can try to change the port the program operates on

Port fowarding didn't work (but Im a noob so I dunno), dunno what virtual private network does, means, or how to do it.
And Im trying to run steam Sad

You are best off running a tunnel through on of their open ports.
First thing is to find an open port. I'll bet 443 is open.

Then you need a server outside your school's network to tunnel through.
Any server with SSH is good.

Using a tool like Putty, you can create a tunnel in which you can redirect applications using either their SOCKS proxy settings or a SOCKS encapsulation tool like Socksify.

I dunno how to get mirc working, I've tried 443, 1863 (which is open because I can use AIM and MSN on that port) and a slew of others I believe is open.

This thread is lacking in awesome compared to the last one.

We need to see more non-galaxy-crushing-boobs art! D:

You just want more gift art of yourself laying eggs  :-X[/quote]
Actually, I've just about had enough of that as well. :x I've told my friend Tom to stop commissioning pr0n of Cece altogether, in fact.

It's a landing strip.  For airplanes and shit.  Maybe dirigibles.

What for? It leads nowhere and there is no buliding or whatever around...

Looks pretty much photoshopped to me.
