I like my iPod Touch for the reason of hackability and applications... I would say the iPod Classic and any other HDD based mp3 player would suck the most (except the Zune off course) moving parts aren't good for people who actually move around a lot...

I guess it depends on whether you see your MP3 player as your music archive or a way of taking all your favorite music with you.  I've given up on the archive, as personally having one thing to have to carry around is super convenient, but I see to have gotten to the point where the music I want to have with me is larger than the 6.5 gigs I get after all the other stuff.

I got an 8 gig iPhone and I really am lusting after a bigger one.  I'm completely full right now and everytime I get some new songs it's a huge debate on what to delete.

I don't get why everyone needs these huge amounts of space for the MP3 players.  I got an 8gig Iphone and I find myself cycling through a lot of songs just to listen to what im in the mood for.  Granted its nice to put your whole collection on a MP3 player but if I were to do that I could find myself skipping through a lot of music.

Thats why I go on youtube and youtube the song and it will most likely come up.  And chances are if I did like the song enough to show it to someone it would most likely be on my phone.  I don't really show off my "Meh" songs to other people

There's usually no device around that can go on Youtube. I guess you're not the type that puts full albums.
