Apparently, Nintendo's still doing a new pikmin. <3

At the tail-end of E3, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto uttered a single line. "We're making Pikmin". It was a good line, but also a vague line, one that led to a bit of speculation yesterday when Nintendo announced their first GameCube/Wii remake. Since that first game was Pikmin, pessimists would be forgiven for thinking Miyamoto was only talking about the remake, and not a new Pikmin game. Well, in this case, the pessimists are wrong. Nintendo smile machine Cammie Dunaway has confirmed "Mr. Miyamoto referred to a new Pikmin, as opposed to the classics that are being rereleased on Wii". We all good?

I'm really not interested in this..at all. And nothing else Ninty has announced..not to mention the fact that you will have to keep buying peripherals for these games to get the full experience (Wii Motion+, More Nunchucks, Remotes, Wii Fit Balance Board, ect, ect). I spent more money buying peripherals than games..infact I invested about $500 dollars before I sold it. I'm not willing to let a company do that to me..infact..I'd rather have to pay for DLC than keep buying $50 peripherals. Sorry, it is just not for me. I've given up on Nintendo as far as consoles go.

Since I'm into the generic FPS...  I'm currently playing through Silent Hill 2 again in prep for SH: Homecoming. WipeOut HD also looks fantastic on my tv...not to mention Ironman Blu-Ray.

On sale at Best Buy (for realz). One of the cheaper 26", but it supports up to 1080i. Pretty much perfect for the amount of space I have. Just the right size. My old tube TV that I used before was like a 20"...even though it's just 6 inches..it just makes a big difference.

I would like to say that Caff's video made me very excited.  Don't disappoint me Nintendo!  I'm sick of the substandard games we have been getting lately.

Punch Out will be casualized crap, you can bet on it.  There is no way they will release a BOXING game for the Wii they don't intend to try to sell to the Wii Sports/Balance/Dildo crowd. 

Sin and Punishment 2 will rock, and what you all don't know, is Trace Memory could be amazing.  I'd love to see what it's developers will do with an adventure game on the Wii.
