I'm still a little freaked out about it. I was my way home, just biking into a usual neighborhood I go through, and these two huskies start eyeing me. One of them starts barking and sure enough, they kick it into full gear and start chasing me. Now you have to think in my perspective, it looks funny to see it happening in third person, but when two large huskies with a full set of teeth start trying to bite you, it's a bit scary. So, naturally, I shift into seventh gear and start yelling for help. There was a car and two people lying around not doing anything, and when they heard me, they did NOTHING. They just pointed like I was some sort of machine.
So for about two heart pounding miles these things chase me until I'm about ready to fall over and just let them chew at my skin, they're too far behind to see me. THANK GOD. I spent about another half-hour getting home, and I'm in one piece. Only problem, now I have to stray away from that path for a couple days, maybe even a few weeks to settle my nerves and perhaps the dogs' as well. So that's my, "I almost got killed today" story. What's yours? |

Proof: dogs hate christians
and thats not near death, you could easily kill a dog jees. ive been stabbed in the stomach thats near death mate also ive been ran over by an ice cream truck. and in holiday in austria my mate really needed a shit, so he went doen what we thaught was a back alley and i stood watch, he was there doing a poowhen this mad car pulls up and into this 'alley'Â turns out it lead to this fcking huge mansion, the guy who owned it was obviously some kind of crime lord and my mate was still down there crapping away, i had to stall this guy and then explain why my mate was way back, unfortunatly i speak 0 german so i shouted at my mate to hurry up while this huge austrian guy with a fucking cane steps out of this crazy car and comes up to me, i luckily had a leaflet in my pocket and tried to explain that i was just putting leaflets at peoples doors, therfore covering my mates enterence from this guys alley thing. in the end he started shouting and we just ran i felt clever thinking up the leaflet excuse tho. |

Dogs aren't anything to worry about unless they are actually trained to attack you. Everytime I have encountered a dog on my mail route all I had to do was not turn my back to it and just yell for it to get back in the yard/house/etc. Sure they will usually show fangs and snap a bit but they will never lunge and attack as long as I am facing it.
Hell I don't even carry mace anymore. |

Uhh Dave getting stabbed in the stomach isn't near death man. I mean its a cool story and all but it takes like a week to die from getting shot in the stomach. Getting stabbed is even wussier than that.

Punch em in the head! My friend sold meat at the end of HS for some extra money. He went to this one house and a doberman came running at him. He nailed the dog in the head without thinking and knocked him out.
The owner came out looking kinda pissed. But he said something like "You best get off my property, but all the same it's good you knocked him out or he probably would have killed you." |

Alright, well I don't have too many near death experiences.
I've also been chased by dogs; when I was in holland in grade ten for the summer, I was walking down some paths through lots of trees. One of the houses had a back gate that ended on this path and it was open, their two huge dogs able to get out. As soon as I walked by (I had no alternate path, didn't know the area very well) they took off after me. I ran for a bit and eventually their owner came out and stopped them after hearing all the noise; lucky me, or I would have been bitten for sure. I've been in several car accidents, nothing TOO serious; the last serious one had my old car written off and me unable to move for a day. I was super scared the next morning... I couldn't get out of bed, I couldn't get up. I've been rear ended in this city (in my car, pervs) more times than I can remember. I've fallen like 7 or 8 feet out of a tree (not that high, I know) and was fine... hm. I can't think of anything else at the moment save some close calls while a passenger in OTHER people's cars. |

When I was about 5 or 6 I hit my head on the sharp end of the counter top while I was running around. I cracked my skull open and tons of blood came out. I was young, I freaked out and thought I was going to die. Luckily my mom's a nurse she did the best she could to stop the bleeding till I got to the emergency room to get stitched up. Fairly scary shit for me at the time.

I was evacuated from a third world country amid political turmoil and riots. Missed the rest of the school year.Â

I once went on an 8 hour road trip to and from Rhode Island with Blues behind the wheel.
Near deaths include (But are not limited to) Being sideways on I-95 at 80 or so MPH Nearly hitting the back of 2 buses, a dump truck, and several cars Driving across a dirt median once we realized we took the wrong exit (05-10-2009, 07:39 PM)Radio Raheem link Wrote:in the straightest way possible i have to say honest is by far the best looking person here |

I've walked about a good mile and a half in the dark just to go get some Chinese food.
My parents freaked out about it more than I did. They talked about drive-by battings by hillbilly kids and gang initiations and whatnot. I really didn't care. I got some fucking awesome Chinese food out of it. |

If you look at history you'll see men fight for pay, or women, or some other kind of loot. They fight for land, or because a king makes them, or just because they like killing. But we're here for something new. This hasn't happened much in the history of the world. We are an army out to set other men free. America should be free ground, from here to the Pacific Ocean. No man has to bow, no man born to royalty. Here we judge you by what you do, not by who your father was. Here you can be something. Here you can build a home. But it's not the land. There's always more land. It's the idea that we all have value, you and me. What we're fighting for, in the end, is Chinese food. |
