There were test screenings in Portland a few days ago.
A fair bit of info has been leaked, if you look on AICN you'll find it (I can't be bothered finding the link now) From what people said, surf's right, there's no #$!@$, but all the characters end up in the same positions as the comic. Much worse than that though, apparently there's no journal at the end, that a huge mistake I think. Although there's hope that they're test screening different endings, because really, even though the true ending has a massive WTF!?! rating, the new one doesn't make as much sense and doesn't make a smart man seem smart at all. Hopefully that post makes little sense to people who haven't read the comic
