Am I the only one that bought VTM: Bloodlines for $10 on Steam?

Its a fun game but just wayyyyy to short.  And its cool that you can use firearms but man are they useless.

They just aren't as good as melee.  All you needed was celerity and melee and you just destroy vampires so much easier than with firearms and having to worry about ammo and such.  I might have had one powerful shotgun just in case there was a creature that I couldn't stay close to when Celerity ran out.

I haven't tried a clan with Celerity yet.  So far I just use Obfuscate to stealth-kill everyone I can, then gun down the rest.

Thats a steal.  Since we are reviving old subjects I always wished the game was a bit more RPG than FPS when it came out (more like the Pencil and Paper RPG).  Granted making the powers unique to every clan made it balanced but I would have prefered it if there were pool powers you can buy.

There was a Vampire:The Masquerade game like that, but this is not it.  This one is already pre-structured and the like.

This is an amazing game story wise, I'd fully recommend it.  But you need to get the fan mod(s) of your choice.  There are 2 that clean up the bugs and code and stuff and a lot of updated skins that modernize the graphics.  One mod also makes it a bit easier which pissed off the other mod maker because he wants it to remain "true to the original intent" which sounds ok but if you go to his site he is insanely obsessed.  I wouldn't be surprised if he met the other mod creator and stabbed him in the neck with a spork.

I played this a long time ago, and think its replayability is almost on par with Deus Ex's. It also shares a lot of the very dark RPG-esque-ness of Deus Ex. Which is excellent.
