I have it.  Haven't played it in forever, but I have it.  It was neat seeing how it maps out songs, but in my opinion it's ultimately just a good "filler" game when you just want to fart around for a few minutes.

I just got it and am having fun playing Guilty Gear tracks on it, Holy Orders from Guilty Gear 2:Overture has some crazy blind curves.  I'm going to play some Flight of the Conchords next.

I play the game on mono ninja, so it's not as complicated as most rhythm music games, but I use as more of a Solitaire, zen state inducing, distraction than an actual game.  Plus it was like five dollars when I bought it.

Well that basic format of Knives' was that each Sunday he'd pick a song and the competitors would play it throughout that week and try and get the highest score on the friends leaderboard (occasionally with restrictions on which difficulty and ship you could choose) which would earn them points, to get games from him. I was thinking of modifying it a bit and having it a long standing contest with the winner (whoever has the most points) getting a $50 or less Steam game, 2nd place getting a $20 one and 3rd getting a $10.

Or we could take it in a totally different direction (that would cost me a whole lost less cash ;3) and just do it for kicks. Same idea with points and a leaderboard of them in the forums, just no end to it and no prizes. That might work even better, as we could all switch off on picking songs and the like. Maybe we could mash the two ideas up?

Before that contest, Knives gave away a couple copies of Audiosurf to people who recommended the funnest songs. I signed up for a Dtoid account just to enter, and I won (thanks again if you still read the forums, Knivy). I did the contest Pig Mask is talking about every week, and it was very fun (even though most of the songs were really shitty game music covers). I also won Lumines the very last week of it (thanks again again). Anyway, if it weren't for these contests I might not have followed the Dtoid community enough to start doing FNF and TFT, and I would never be here. So thanks again again again, Knives.
