I actually like the layout. The dashboard itself is less useful, but from what I've seen the marketplace is a lot more user friendly. The guide button menu is less obtrusive and has a lot more stuff in it as well. Plus, the whole thing is definitely a lot faster, which is awesome.

Yeah, something that works much more efficiently, has all the information contained within a very well designed menu easily accessed at any time via the guide button, has a much better organized marketplace interface, and where the pointless things (or which there admittedly are many) are easily ignorable... is "like the gayest thing ever".

Wat? This is not more efficient, and I dunno about anyone else, but it seems a helluva lot slower than the old interface. Whenever I pull it up from in-game, it takes a few seconds to come up, as opposed to popping up after a short delay.

The blades were plenty fast and very easy to navigate. All this shit does is give more space for ADs, makes it look like windows media center (which looks like shit and takes up unnecessary system resources).

The Mii rip offs are just the icing on the fucking cake, did you honestly need it? We all thought the Miis were cool, like 2 years ago, then they faded into obscurity and we stopped giving a shit. Do you really need to blatantly copy Nintendo this late in the game.
