In Earth Defense Force, you are one of many soldiers.  Master Chief is like the ultimate supersoldier.

I've actually had an idea for an MMO similar to this where instead of controlling one character you have an entire clan, and expand in power and size down through generations.  Maybe one day I'll put up a detailed summary.

Way I imagine it is two separate game types, a Smash Bros. based one (most of the Capcom guys have such perfectly adaptable movesets, just look at Ryu; Special-Hadouken, side special-Hurricane Kick, up special-Shoryuken) and the standard 2D Capcom fighter (this might require a bit more thought, but you just look at the awesome movesets they give to characters like Jill Valentine and Cyclops to convince you that Capcom can do it.) The roster would have to be shuffled a bit on the Ninty side (Pikachu and the like would have to be shifted to side characters) and the Capcom side would HAVE to include Phoenix Wright, for obvious reasons

Also: Majora's Mask sequel, hell, I'd even take a remake. I loved this game.
