Was Predator nominated yet? How about any of the Alien films? Over The Top? Gremlins 1 or 2? Batteries Not Included? Goddamit, why didn't I see this thread sooner and start my nominations early?! If I can make tardy nominations, those are mine, other wise Predator for now. :''''''(

Gremlins was a neat little flick. Favorite scene is when the mom murders three of the things.

I'm watching Grave of the Fireflies now....and it's so very very depressing. Dammit Miyazaki ;-;.

Also that's my last nomination.

And with strange aeons, even Death may lay down in the street and die.

[/quote]Nope, although I did spend the better part of the week discussing Heart of Darkness and Apocalypse now with my class.
I actually took about 6 or 7 pages of notes while I was watching.  Also, the book and movie work out so much better with each other.

It's day six, and I think we need more musicals. Blues Brothers.

Penultimate vote, unless Friday is still open: Cruel Intentions. What a homo I am, what a great film it is.

The Simpson's Movie.

I can still remember how hard I was laughing when I saw this movie. A lot of effort went into the script.

Agreed. Hearts of Darkness is about the filming of Apocalypse Now though, and all the crazy (Denis Hopper) stuff that happened.
