Yay got my BR 6.  Also I stuck around for a little while just to dick around.  I decided to see how far I could get towards giving the NC herpes, before anyone noticed.



I ended up 5 or 6 towers short because some random guy showed up and kept chasing me around reverting the towers.  He actually "caught" me at a couple towers, but I flew a Phantasm out literally in front of his face without him noticing.

Where do you get to when you try to play, in the launch pad there is an option to do a full scan of the files, you can try that first

It's dled everything, but when I login it downloads pscs.exe and says patch complete. I do a full scan and it does a check and then dl's the same thing again. I may just be completely stupid as to what to do, but I keep trying to find an executable since apparently the program isn't supposed to run automatically after it dl's but I can't find one. wtf?

hm....if you just hit play, how far does it get?

Also do you have any of the following....
Vista -> Might need to run sony/planetside/ps.exe in compatibility mode
Saitek Keyboard -> Must disable the command pad drivers in the device manager
Athlon Dual Core -> Install Optimizer

Also you could try deleting the exe files and let the launcher redownload them

That's the thing..I have no option to hit play. It just sits there after it downloads.

No, dont do that, we can fix this

the 'play' button should be in the upper left

PS stores its files like this, the structure is like this

Program Files\sony\planetside\PS Files
Program Files\sony\launchpad\launchpad files

There is a "planetside" folder in the launchpad folder, but it has no game files in it at all.

Yeah, Threshers are a lot better than I thought they where.  I finished 30/30 with whatever assists.  Still need to do some Phantasm dropping and running off though.  On a continent with only TR and NC.

I played a little tonight. I was pretty confused as to how to do things, but I totally skipped training just to take a look around for awhile. This game is perfect for guerilla snipers..what I love to do in SOCOM.

The Enforcer is pretty mean too, though, its AV rockets 1-hit infantry, or at least they used to...

They still do, all of the buggies can be really mean if you get a good crew in them
