Me too. There were some great posts in that thread. Every forum needs a thread for posts that aren't worth a thread to themselves.

I have trouble paying attention to what the other guy is doing.  I suppose this is a problem.

Err no kind of the opposite, I find I can only focus on one thing intensely at a time.  The thing I'm focusing on is my brilliant strategy for the next 10 moves.  What I seem to be missing is that my opponent generally has a strategy too, which I only seem to project 1 move ahead.

Yeah... I lost my queen because I got the king and queen mixed up. So when I thought I'd easily take a bishop (I think) with my queen I was instead in check and had to lost it.
