I'm pretty sure when it is complete, I'm going to get pictures and send them to Dell. I'm very much considering ductaping the PSU on top...and I'm pretty sure my heatsink for the new proc. is going to stick out some. So this is going to be one hell of a Frankenstein.

well it certainly couldnt get any worse.
anything you add at this point is only going to make it better duct tape , cathode lights , maybe a warming plate for your hot chocolate |

I would assume that screwing the psu into the case helps to ground / discharge static. I'd think taping a psu on top of a painted surface would be a static risk. Then again, I am not an electrical engineer. Also, SEBREEZE, GO SPEND 50 Bucks on a Case already! Additionally, Sponson totally needs to draw the frankencomputer. |

scratch that....Dell..once again had to be a motherfucker..didn't put anchors on the motherboard so I can't put on the heatsink I got. Granted AMD gave it to me for free..still..it's a pretty nice heatsink.. I am cleaning off the old one and putting it back on. I'll just save it until I get a new motherboard.
